Born in France and a member of the Hall of New Reality in Paris,  she has resided in Baja California (México) since approximately 1970.  Married to Benjamín Serrano, a brilliant Tijuana artist (he is deceased) together they began the creation of contemporary art of Baja California of the time.

Danielle an enigmatic and tormented personality depicts her selfportrait in much of her work.  We also find in her work a consciousness and maturity with her own personal stamp.  She uses great geometric composition and colors that create a perfect balance in each piece.

Lover of Oriental and Hindu art, her work is also influenced by them, giving a certain form to these cultures.  She also includes images of Midevil times, adapting them to contemporary art.

More “out there” than the styles of the art world, Danielle maintains her inner strength and her creative capacity full of misticism, irony, and surrealistic references.
Every collection of Baja California art should include a piece by Danielle Gallois.
